HOTWORK INTERNATIONAL HISTORY
Where it all started...
Hotwork International originated from the company Hotwork Ltd., founded in the year 1962 in England. Hotwork Ltd. introduced a unique high velocity burner to dry out and heat up refractories which has innovated the way furnaces/kilns/ovens/reactors etc. are being brought into operation. This new technology became popular in industries like glass, cement, steel, aluminum, hydrocarbon, power generations and other industries. With this, the company expanded worldwide and built local offices in several countries.

Hotwork Ltd. started in England
1986
Hotwork Germany was purchased by Jorg Koester and renamed it to Hotwork Koester. Since then, it has become a family business.
1992
Hotwork Koester supplies Burner and Combustion System to the Glass Industry
1994
Hotwork International Asia (Cebu, Philippines)
1996
Founding of HAL India
2000
Hotwork International China (Shenzhen)
2004
Hotwork International moved its new head office in Switzerland

Hotwork International continues to grow with the second generation
